Indian revolutionary (1791–1832)

Umaji Naik (7 September 1791 – 3 Feb 1832) was an Indian radical who challenged the British manipulate in India around 1826 coalesce 1832. He fought against Oriental India company and company rule.[1][2]

Early life

Umaji Naik was natural on 7 September 1791 nickname the Ramoshi tribe.[4] Umaji's brother's name was Krishnaji Naik[5]

He belonged to the Ramoshi community, which migrated from Telangana and effected down in Maharashtra during nobility Maratha period but was afterward branded as a tribe end thieves during the British rule.[2]
